eTrex Handheld Receivers
from Garmin

SAVE $26
(Brand New - While Supplies Last!)

The eTrex is Garmin's newest handheld GPS. It's the smallest, lightest GPS available. The main differences between the eTrex and the GPS12 are as follows: eTrex is about 2/3 the size and weight of the GPS12; eTrex is simpler to operate than the GPS12 (it has different menus); eTrex has less navigational functions and less "doodad functions" so it's likely the easiest to use GPS that's ever been made; eTrex is rated at IPX-7 for waterproofness which is the same as the GPS12 (1-meter submersion for 30 minutes); eTrex will hold ten saved tracklogs (GPS12 only holds one tracklog); eTrex runs up to 22-hours on two AA batteries (GPS12 is bigger but runs about 24-hours on four AA batteries).

eTrex Summit Handheld Receivers
from Garmin

SAVE $48
(The Next Generation of eTrex Receivers!)

The eTrex Summit comes on the heels of the extremely popular eTrex, which was designed for both marine and recreation use. This new all-in-one navigation device for the outdoor enthusiast is the first combination GPS, altimeter, and electronic compass. The electronic compass provides bearing information when you're standing still and the altimeter determines precise altitude, so you can tell how high you've climbed and your rate of ascent. Like its predecessor, the eTrex Summit boasts a powerful 12-parallel channel GPS receiver and comes packaged in a small, sleek case with operating buttons located on either side of the unit. The case is completely waterproof to withstand immersion in one meter of water for up to 30 minutes. The eTrex Summit: It's what the hard-core outdoorsman has been waiting for.
